NEW YORK — Xin Ying Yee's run at the College Squash Associaition (CSA) Individual Championships came to a close Monday afternoon, falling in straight games to Princeton's Zeina Zein in the Ramsay Cup semifinals at Grand Central Terminal.

Zein posted an 11-4, 11-6, 11-8 victory over Yee on Monday, successfully avenging her regular-season loss to the Cornellian sophomore on her home court a week and a half ago, 3-11, 14-12, 11-9, 11-9. The Princeton sophomore clinched her spot in Tuesday's championship match, where she will face Stanford's Riya Navani and vie to bring the Tigers their first national title since 2001.

Yee's appearance in the Ramsay Cup semifinals marked the fourth time in the last five tournaments that a Cornell women's squash player has reached the final four of the Ramsay Cup. Former Big Red standout Sivasangari Subramaniam '23, reached the championship match on three occasions (2019, 2022, 2023) and lost in the semifinals in 2020.
