The no. 7-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the no. 6-ranked Clarkson Golden Knights 3-0 on Friday night at Cheel Arena. The Big Red improved to 10-3-2 and overtakes the top-spot in the ECAC Hockey standings, while the Golden Knights drop to 16-4-1.

vs St. Lawrence
The no. 7-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team tied the no. 10 St. Lawrence Saints 2-2 on Saturday evening at Applton Arena. The Big Red moved to 10-3-3, while the Saints became 12-5-5.

Last Time Out vs Colgate
The Cornell women's ice hockey team fell short of an NCAA Frozen Four berth with a 3-1 loss to Colgate in the regional finals on Saturday evening from Class of 1965 Arena.
Kaitlin Jockims scored the Big Red goal in the contest, which was assisted by
Alyssa Regalado and
Karel Prefontaine.
Big Red Players To Watch
Annelies Bergmann has been strong in net this season, saving 362 shots. Bergmann has held opponents scoreless in five games, coming in a tie versus Mercyhurst and four shutout victories against Penn State, RPI, Dartmouth and Yale.
Avi Adam has been a reliable goal-scorer for Cornell, as she leads the team with 7. Her nine assists on the year pushes her point-total to 16 which leads the team.
Captain and defense-woman
Ashley Messier has been a catalyst for the Big Red so far this season. She currently leads the team in assists, with 10, to go along with three goals. Messier's impact on the defensive end is felt, as she has 19 blocked shots on the year to pair with a +8.
