Annelies Bergmann Named ECAC Hockey Goaltender of The Month

ITHACA, N.Y. - Junior goaltender Annelies Bergmann has been named ECAC Hockey MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Month for October. Bergmann registered 197 saves during the month. She produced four shutouts in the month of October and earned a 6-0-0 record between the pipes.

Most notably, Bergmann made 39 saves in a shutout victory against no. 14 Yale to close out the month. She collected over 20 saves in five out of six games and a .67 goals-against average during the span of October.

"Annelies has been tremendous for us early this season.  She gives the whole team confidence every game.", Doug Derraugh '91, the Everett Family Head Coach of Women's Ice Hockey added.

Bergmann and the no. 4-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team will return to Lynah Rink against upstate-New York foe Colgate for a home-and-away series. Game action will be broadcast on ESPN+.
