SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Cornell women's swimming and diving team defeated the LeMoyne Dolphins 180-108 on Saturday evening at Nottingham High School. The Big Red claimed the top-spot in 12 events.
Morgan Ogata began the day with a victory in the 1-meter dive, earning a score of 267.55.
Julia Wilkinson bested all 3-meter divers with her score of 304.70.
Aria Capelli, Min Xu,
Alex Syrkin, and Tori Zhang topped the 400 yard medley relay with their time of 3:56.32.
Hojung Yoon was the winner of the 1650 yard freestyle, pacing her way to a time of 15:40.05. Ella Marinez (1:53.01) was the leader in the 200 yard freestyle.
Audrey Holden (30.46 seconds) won the 50 yard breaststroke.
Ariel Lin (58.76 seconds) was the first swimmer to touch the wall in the 100 yard butterfly. Xu (24.15) led the way for the second time, this time coming in the 50 yard freestyle.
Sophia Sim earned a finish of 53.80 seconds to win the 100 yard freestyle.
Jungmin Yoon (57.68 seconds) topped the 100 yard backstroke rankings. Yoon (Hojung) rounded out Cornell event-victories by registering her second first-place result of the evening in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:04.83).
