ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell gymnastics placed fourth at the 48th Ivy Classic Championship in Newman Arena on Sunday afternoon with a team score of 192.875.
Penn took the overall crown with a score of 195.375 followed by Brown (194.800), Yale (194.775) and Cornell.
Sydney Beers finished third in the all-around with a total individual score of 38.150.
BARS
Dahlia Jhaveri scored a season-best 9.725 on the bars to tie for seventh. Ava Schenck-Davis made her Big Red debut in the event with a score of 9.425.
BEAM
With a season-high 9.825, Mikayla Burton tied for sixth on the beam. Savannah Kokaly jumped into the lineup for Cornell with a 9.650.
FLOOR
Beers tied for second on the floor with a 9.875, her season high mark. The Big Red scored a total of 49.025 on the floor
VAULT
Cornell finished the day on the vault with a score of 48.200. Beers led with a 9.800 to grab third overall on the apparatus.
UP NEXT
Cornell gymnastics will be on the road for the rest of the season starting at SUNY Brockport on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m.
