Senior Weekend Rewind
vs Brown
The no. 4-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the Brown Bears 6-2 on Friday night at Lynah Rink. With the victory, the Big Red improved to 20-4-4 and secured the programs seventh ECAC Hockey regular season title, and its first since the 2019-20 campaign.

vs Yale
The no. 4-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team played the Yale Bulldogs to a draw on senior day at Lynah Rink.The Big Red moved to 20-4-5, while the Bulldogs shifted to 15-11-3 on the season.
Piper Grober registered the lone Big Red goal in the game.

2024-25 Season Series vs Union
The Cornell women's ice hockey team split the series with the Union Garnet Chargers during the 2024-25 season series, tying the scoring with the Garnet Chargers 4-4 in the two matchups.
The Big Red hosted the Garnet Chargers in the Big Red's first ECAC Hockey matchup of the season, with the Garnet Chargers stunning Cornell 3-2 in the early-season head-to-head to win its first ever game at Lynah Rink.
During Cornell's final road-trip of the season, the Garnet Chargers hosted the Big Red in its final game ever at Messa Rink. The Big Red trailed with under 10 minutes to play, but scored twice in less than one minute to avenge its early-season setback 2-1.
Big Red Players To Watch
Annelies Bergmann has proven to be one of the top goaltenders in the nation, saving 616 shots (.939). Bergmann has held opponents scoreless in eight games, coming in a tie versus Mercyhurst and seven shutout victories against Penn State, RPI, Dartmouth, Yale, Clarkson, and St. Lawrence.
The Big Red's scoring production has been spread out, as 12 players currently have double digit points coming into the weekend.
Avi Adam has been a reliable playmaker and leads the way for Cornell in that regard. She is second on the team in assists with with 16. Her 10 goals on the year pushes her point-total to 26 which leads the team.
Lindzi Avar has had a seamless adjustment to the college game. Avar currently leads the team with 14 goals to go along with five assists. She has been named ECAC Hockey Rookie of The Week three times this season.
Captain and defense-woman
Ashley Messier has been a model of consistency for the Big Red so far this season. Messier has 13 assists to go along with seven goals on the year. Messier's impact on the defensive end is felt, as she has 35 blocked shots on the year to pair with a +18.

Puck drop for game one between the Big Red and the Garnet Chargers is slated for 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28 at Lynah Rink. Game two is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1.
