Box Score PHILADELPHIA, PA --- The Cornell women's tennis team fell to the Princeton Tigers 4-1 on Friday morning in day one of the ECAC Indoor Championships. With the loss, the Big Red move to 1-1 on the season.

Victoria Zhao earned the lone victory of the match for Cornell as she defeated Bella Chhiv 6-1, 6-1 in singles play.  Rounding out singles, Michelle Ryndin lost 6-4,6-2 to Alice Ferlito, Sage Loudon lost to Yichen Zhao 6-3, 6-1, Jenny Wong and Eva Elbaz's match went unfinished 7-6(5), 2-0, Andrea Martinez and Anna Nguyen's match went unfinished 6-4, 3-4 and Tanya Fan was defeated by Tsehay Driscoll 6-4, 6-3.

In doubles play the Big Red went 0-2 with the third match going unfinished. Zhao and Loudon fell to Elbaz and Maren Urata 6-2, Alexandra Savu and Ryndin fell to Chhiv and Ferlito 6-1 and Wong and Martinezz's match against Zhao and Driscall went unfinished 4-3. 

The Big Red will play next on day two of the ECAC Indoor Championships on Saturday, Feb. 8.
