ITHACA, N.Y. -
Karel Prefontaine has been named ECAC Hockey Forward of the Week. Prefontaine potted three goals this weekend in the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal sweep over the Union Garnet Chargers.
In game one of the series Prefontaine netted the first two goals of the contest which set the tone for the rest of the night where Cornell would go on to shutout the Garnet Chargers 3-0. In game two of the series, Prefontaine scored a clutch goal with just over one minute left in the game to tie it after Cornell has struggled to find the back of the net for the majority of the game.
