ITHACA, N.Y. - The no. 3-seeded Cornell women's ice hockey team will prepare to host an NCAA Regional for the first time since the 2019-20 season. Cornell is slated to face the first round winner between no. 6-seeded Minnesota-Duluth and Sacred Heart in the NCAA Regional Final at Lynah Rink on Saturday, March 15. The winner of that contest will advance to the NCAA Frozen Four in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
With the bid, Cornell reaches its 10th NCAA Tournament in program history. In the Big Red's previous nine tournament appearances, the squad has made the final four on four occasions. The last time Cornell earned an NCAA bid was in the 2023-24 season, where they were seeded sixth.
