Women's Lacrosse Well-Represented As IWLCA Academic Awards Are Announced

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell women's lacrosse team was recognized for its tremendous efforts in the classroom today as the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association named its Academic Honor and individual Honor Roll squads. The Big Red was well-represented in Wednesday's announcement.

Cornell was one of 383 schools across the nation to earn a spot as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad - the 13th consecutive season the Big Red made the national list. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.

The Big Red had 19 student-athletes named to the 2025 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll, including 14 members of the senior class. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. In all, the IWLCA honored 1,176 student-athletes from 124 different institutions. The full list of Cornellians is below.
