ITHACA, N.Y. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has recognized the Cornell women's lacrosse program with two academic honors for the 2025-26 academic year, naming 11 Big Red student-athletes to the Division I Academic Honor Roll while the team as a whole earned Academic Honor Squad distinction.
It is the third-straight year Cornell women's lacrosse has had 11 or more honorees on the Academic Honor Roll and the 16th consecutive time the program earned the Academic Honor Squad designation.
To be eligible for the Division I Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. The IWLCA honored 1,209 student-athletes from 122 institutions nationally.
Cornell was also one of 108 Division I programs, and 357 across all divisions, named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, an honor awarded to teams that posted a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better as a program during the 2025-26 academic year.
