Gymnastics Travels to Morgantown for West Virginia Quad Meet

ITHACA, N.Y. – Following its Tuesday night dual with Bowling Green, the Big Red travel to Morgantown, W. Va., to compete in the Women's Empowerment Meet, hosted by West Virginia. The quad meet is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
 
THE MEET
The West Virginia quad meet will feature the Mountaineers, Kent State, and Pitt and will be held at Hope Coliseum.
 
The meet will be carried on ESPN+.
 
CORNELL UPDATE
The Big Red have found their stride on floor exercise, posting a season-high 48.775 in their last outing. Josie Moylan and Cami Whitaker are tied for the team lead on floor with matching 9.800 scores. Moylan has now posted back-to-back 9.800 performances, tying for first in consecutive meets.
 
Cornell posted a season-high 48.375 on uneven bars against Bowling Green, led by team captains Ava Schenck-Davis and Morgen Shambo, who tied for first with 9.725 scores. Natalia Tehrani has been consistent on multiple events, posting a season-high 9.750 on balance beam while also contributing 9.700 on bars.
 
The vault lineup continues to show depth with Addy Rothstein claiming her first event title of the season with a career-high 9.750. Sarah Goetter has been a reliable all-around contributor, posting 9.650 or better on vault and 9.775 on floor in the last meet. Cornell will look to build on its season-high bars performance and continue improving on beam as the team searches for its first victory.

Cornell scored 191.650 to finish second in a dual meet against Bowling Green on Jan. 27. Josie Moylan and Cami Whitaker tied for first on floor (9.800), Addy Rothstein won vault (9.750), and Ava Schenck-Davis and Morgen Shambo tied for first on bars (9.725).
 
UP NEXT
Cornell will travel to Philadelphia, Pa., for a quad meet at Penn on Friday, Feb., 6 at 7 p.m.
