Championship Prep Continues at BU and Barton Hall for Cornell Indoor Track & Field

Ithaca, N.Y. — The Cornell men's and women's indoor track and field teams will split competition this weekend, sending athletes to one of the nation's premier meets while also hosting a home invitational inside Barton Hall.

14 men and 12 women will travel to Boston, MA this weekend. The men will compete Friday, Feb. 13, and the women Saturday, Feb. 14, at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at Boston University's Track & Tennis Center. Events begin at 9 a.m. each day. The meet, one of the largest and most competitive of Cornell's indoor season, will be livestreamed on FloTrack, with live results available at LancerTiming.com.

The Valentine Invitational annually draws elite collegiate and professional fields, providing the Big Red an opportunity to chase fast times and strengthen qualifying marks as the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships approach.

While part of the squad competes in Boston, Cornell will also host the Robert Kane Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 14, inside Barton Hall. A full meet schedule can be found HERE.

The split-meet weekend allows Cornell to maximize competition opportunities across event groups, balancing high-level national fields in Boston with additional racing and development opportunities at home.

With the championship season looming, the Big Red will look to build momentum, sharpen race execution and continue climbing performance lists on both the Ivy League and national stage.
