ITHACA, N.Y. -- For the second consecutive weekend, the Cornell sailing team will send squads to Maryland to compete at Navy and St. Mary's (Md.) for two-day regattas spanning Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15. The Big Red will hit the water for Navy's Graham Hall Team Race and St. Mary's Women's Fleet Race.
This past weekend, Cornell's efforts were highlighted by a third-place finish at the Jen Harris Women's Team Race at Navy with a 6-2 record. The Big Red defeated Old Dominion, Penn, Georgetown, South Florida, Hobart & William Smith and Rollins to finish behind only Stanford and Brown. Cornell's coed squad also competed at the St. Mary's Team Race Inter-Conference, placing ninth against a strong national field.
