ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell women's rowing team hosted Boston University and George Washington on the Cayuga Inlet on Saturday, racing 2,000 meters under challenging conditions that featured strong headwinds and variable gusts throughout the day.

Cornell's 1V8+ dropped a narrow decision to Boston University in the morning before rebounding to defeat George Washington by 4.7 seconds in the afternoon. The 2V8+ followed a similar pattern, falling to the Terriers by less than two seconds in the morning before topping the Revolutionaries in the afternoon by just over 15 seconds.

The 1V4+ and 2V4+ both finished second against Boston University while the Big Red swept both events against George Washington in the afternoon.

In the 2V4+ in the afternoon, Boston University joined the field alongside George Washington and Cornell and edged GW by just over two seconds with Cornell placing third.

Cornell swept Colgate in the morning (3V4+) and afternoon (3V8+) fields to round out racing action.
