Big Red Aims To Retain Platt and Harriott Trophy Against Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Cornell men's lightweight rowing team will compete against the Princeton Tigers on Saturday morning at Lake Carnegie for the Platt and Harriott Trophy.

Cornell owns the Platt and Harriott Trophy, after the no. 3-ranked Cornell men's lightweight rowing team defeated the No. 2-ranked Princeton in the Platt Cup race, which served as the tiebreaker after both teams recorded two win.

Tyler Nase, the Henry E. Bartels '48 Head Coach of Lightweight Rowing, expressed his excitement as his team will make a return to the water for the Spring campaign."Princeton will be a good test for us. This is our first away race of the spring season. It is still very early, but the team has been making great progress.", Nase mentioned.
