ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell women's rowing dropped all four races to No. 9 Brown on Saturday on Cayuga Inlet in the Dunn Bowl, closing out the regular season home schedule in steady rain and flat water conditions.
Brown controlled each race from start to finish, winning the 1V8+, 2V8+ and 1V4+ by comfortable margins. The closest result of the day came in the 3V8+, where Cornell's 'A' boat finished just two seconds behind the Bears, with Cornell's 4V8+ following less than eight seconds back.
The loss extends Brown's Dunn Bowl winning streak to 34 consecutive contested editions, dating back to the trophy's inception in 1993.

A LOOK UPSTREAM
Cornell concludes its regular season at the 51st annual Ivy League Women's Sprints Regatta on Sunday, May 3, on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. The Big Red will carry send a trio of varsity eight and varsity four entries into the championship. Racing is tentatively scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. with the 3V4+, followed by the 3V8+ at 2:30, the 2V4+ at 3:10, the 1V4+ at 3:50, the 2V8+ at 4:30 and the 1V8+ at 5:10. Racing will be streamed live on Overnght, which requires a paid subscription.
