ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell women's rowing team will return to action on Sunday, May 3, at the 51st annual Women's Sprints Regatta on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. Both the morning heats and afternoon finals will be streamed live on Overnght, which requires a paid subscription.

Last weekend, the Big Red dropped all four races to No. 9 Brown in the Dunn Bowl on Cayuga Inlet, closing out the regular season in steady rain and flat water conditions. The closest result of the day came in the 3V8+, where Cornell finished just two seconds behind the Bears.

Cornell enters the championship seeded eighth in the 1V8+, 2V8+, 3V8+ and 1V4+, seventh in the 2V4+ and fourth in the 3V4+. The 3V4+ is the only Cornell entry to have secured a spot in the Grand Final, as the event's field of seven crews automatically advanced to the final.

Morning heats begin at 8:30 a.m. with the 2V4+, where the top three finishers advance to the Grand Final. The 1V8+, 2V8+ and 1V4+ follow, with the top two finishers in each event advancing to the Grand Final. Cornell closes the morning session in the 3V8+ at 10:40 a.m., where the top three finishers advance.

After a break in action, afternoon finals begin at 2:18 p.m. with the 3V4+ Grand Final.
