Women's Rowing Competes in Saturday Heats at Ivy League Women's Rowing Championships

PENNSAUKEN TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Cornell women's rowing competed in four heats on the opening day of the 2026 Ivy League Women's Rowing Championships on Cooper River on Saturday afternoon, dropping each race to advance to Sunday's Petite Finals.

In the opening heat of the afternoon, the 3V8+ finished fourth behind Penn, Dartmouth, and Harvard. The 1V8+ followed, with Cornell finishing fourth behind Yale, Columbia, and Dartmouth. In the 2V8+, Cornell finished fourth behind Princeton, Dartmouth, and Harvard. Cornell closed the afternoon in the 1V4+, finishing fourth behind Yale, Penn and Brown.

A LOOK UPSTREAM
Cornell returns to the water Sunday morning for the final day of the 2026 Ivy League Women's Rowing Championships.

The Big Red will compete in two Grand Finals, beginning with the 3V4+ at 8 a.m., competing alongside Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth, and a non-scoring Cornell 4V4+ entry. The 2V4+ Grand Final will begin at 8:10 a.m., racing against Brown, Dartmouth, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, and Harvard. Cornell will race in four Petite Finals, going up against Columbia in 3V8+ (8:20 a.m.) and 1V4+ (8:40 a.m.) before rowing against Penn in the 2V8+ (9 a.m.) and 1V8+ (9:20 a.m.).

All races will be streamed live on ESPN+ in the United States and on Stretch Internet internationally.
