BOSTON, Mass. - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) held the 2011 Supplemental Draft on Tuesday, Dec. 14, and four players with Cornell ties were selected. Leading the way was MLL veteran defender Ryan McClay '03, who was selected in the first round (sixth overall) by Chesapeake.

The Boston Cannons took Pierce Derkac '10 in the third round with the 16th pick overall, while the Rochester Rattlers took Tim DeBlois '04 in the fifth round with the 26th pick. Rounding out the former Big Red players selected was Christian Pastirik '09, who was taken by the Long Island Lizards in the 10th round (59th overall).

Beginning on Thursday, Dec. 16, teams may begin to claim remaining players to fill out their 40-man active preseason roster. Major League Lacrosse will hold its 2011 Collegiate Draft on Friday, Jan. 21 at in Baltimore, Maryland.
