Ivy League Announces Venue Change For Women's Rowing Championship

Updated Schedule & Lane Assignments

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Due to anticipated high winds at Mercer Lake over the weekend, the 2016 Ivy League Women's Rowing Championship has changed venues and will now be held on Lake Carnegie on Sunday, March 15.

The schedule for the championship has been adjusted with the morning heats now beginning at 7 a.m. The afternoon finals remain at their previously scheduled time of 2 p.m. The updated schedule and lane assignments can be view at the link above. Adjustments to the schedule may be made on Saturday or Sunday morning based on changing weather conditions.

The event's morning heats and afternoon finals are scheduled for live coverage on The Ivy League Digital Network (ILDN).

For spectators planning to attend the championship, parking at the finish line area at Lake Carnegie is extremely limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make sure to following the instructions for parking from on-site personnel. Parking will not be allowed along Princeton Kingston Road (Route 27). The approximate address for parking near the finish line area is 869 Princeton Kingston Road, Princeton, NJ 08540.

Additional parking will also be available in the West Windsor Fields near Princeton's Class of 1887 Boathouse/C.Bernard Shea '16 Rowing Center. Please make sure to following the instructions for parking from on-site personnel. The approximate address for parking near the boathouse is 60-92 Faculty Road, Princeton, NJ 08540.

Parents/teams may setup tents in the designated grass areas around the finish line area beginning Saturday anytime after Noon. No tent is to be staked, weights only. A tent cannot be any larger than 20x20. Size-appropriate grills, tables and chair are allowed.
