In a match very similar to the men's Friday evening contest,

Elena Wicker jumped out to big lead early and never looked back. The score was 10-0 after one and 22-0 at the half.
Hortense Gimonet,

After dropping a game to the Big Red in November at Cornell, the Huskies were out to defend their home field on Sunday. The Huskies started out strong by scoring the first three goals of the game, but Cornell responded with
Anna Winslow, joined by
Devin Cox and
Emma Eldredge, with the next five goals, including a two-pointer, to take a 5-3 lead after one chukker. The second started out similar to the first as the Huskies jumped out with three quick goals to take a 6-5 lead. Again, the Big Red responded and actually were ahead 10-7 just before UConn made it 10-8 at the half. The third saw the Huskies fight back to take a 13-12 lead heading into the fourth. UConn jumped on COrnell early in the fourth and were up 17-12 with about 4 and a half minutes left. In the next minute and a half, Cornell responded to pull within 17-15 at the walk break. Cornell continue its run to take the the lead at 18-17. UConn tied it up at 18 and then with about 54 seconds got a penalty No. 1 to lead 19-18. The throw-in at the Husky end saw Cornell's Winslow take the ball the length of the hall where she was taken out and Eldredge followed up with the game-tying goal with less than five seconds left. Winslow scored her shot in the shootout, followed by a UConn miss and a Cox score. The Huskies again missed to end the contest, securing the No. 1 ranking in the region and No. 2 in the country heading into break. Winslow tallied 12 on the day with Cox scoring four and Eldredge adding two.
