HOUSTON, Texas - For the fourth season in a row, the Cornell women's polo team met Virginia in the national finals. For the third straight time, the Cavaliers were crowned national champion. Virginia claimed the 2014 USPA National title with a 14-12 win over the Big Red (18-4) on Saturday afternoon.

Kailey Eldredge scored first and then saw the Cavaliers score three straight to take the lead. The Big Red tallied late in the chukker to make it 3–2 Virginia after one. Cornell fought back in the second to tie up at 6-6 going into the half. The Cavaliers came out hard in the third, outscoring the Big Red 5-2 to take an 11-8 lead into the fourth. Cornell closed to within two in the fourth chukker but could not get over the hump. Winslow tallied five goals for the Big Red, Eldredge added four while Cox had two and there was one penalty goal. Eldredge would garner the No. 2 and Winslow the No. 3 all-tournament team spots.
On the men's side, Westmont defended its title by beating Virginia 16-14. Nik Feldman took home the No. 2 all-tournament spot for Cornell.
