Colin Sinclair has advanced to the championship match of the Lenz Singles Bracket, and the team of junior
Chris Vrabel and freshman
David Volfson has moved into the quarterfinals of the doubles bracket in the second day of the Ivy Plus Tournament at Lenz Tennis Center.

Sinclair defeated Michigan's Myles Schalet, 6-3, 5-7, 6-3, in the semifinals of his singles bracket. He'll play Penn State's Marc Collado in Sunday's championship match.

Volfson and Vrabel won two matches on Saturday morning. The duo first dispatched of Brown's Peter Tarwid and Gregory Garcia with an 8-3 victory in the Round of 32, then they secured an 8-4 triumph over Tulsa's Carlos Bautista and Juan Matias Gonzalez. Volfson and Vrabel will take on Indiana's Chris Essick and Stefan Lugonjic at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

There are 22 teams represented at the Ivy Plus Tournament, though it is an individual competition with no team scores. Other teams represented include Brown, Bucknell, Buffalo, Columbia, Dartmouth, Harvard, Indiana, Miami (Fla.), Michigan, NJIT, Notre Dame, Old Dominion, Penn, Penn State, Princeton, St. John's, Tennessee, Tulsa, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin and Yale. There are eight singles flights and and one doubles flight.

SINGLES* Cordish Bracket: The Big Red's other singles semifinal representative, Vrabel was defeated by Columbia's Michael Rolski, 6-2, 6-4. Vrabel is scheduled to play Princeton's Kial Kaiser in a third-place match Sunday.

Pagoda Bracket: Senior
Bernardo Casares Rosa defeated Dartmouth's Brendan Tannebaum, 6-3, 6-1, in the consolation semifinals. Casares Rosa will take on Penn's Zach Lessen in the consolation final on Sunday.

Whitman Bracket: Junior
Dylan Brown topped Tennessee's Marshall Sullivan in the consolation semifinals, 6-4, 6-1, to set up a Sunday match against Miami's Kevin Bondar. In a differernt portion of the consolation brackets, freshman
Maverick Lin rallied past Brown's Charles Tan, 4-6, 6-0, 6-3. Lin will take on Dartmouth's Joey Haig on Sunday.

DOUBLES* Lin and senior
Stefan Vinti won their first match of the day against Miami's Niclas Genovese and Bucknell's Daniel Wright, 8-4, before falling to Andrei Crapcenko and Robert Livi, of St. John's.
