PROVIDENCE, R.I. —
Jordan Brail, Andrew Muran and
Graham Dietz swept their respective matches from the middle of the order, and the men's squash team notched its first Ivy League victory of the season with an 8-1 win Sunday at Brown. Cornell (3-1, 1-1), which entered the weekend ranked 12th in the country, has now defeated No. 16 Brown (2-3, 0-3) in their last 16 matches.
Dietz sewed up the first point of the day, then
Perry Hanson finished off his opponent from the No. 3 position in four sets.
Augie Jones completed the sweep by winning at No. 9, never trailing in a five-set victory.
Kevin Flannery (No. 2) also won in five, and
Alex Jung (No. 7) and
Ben Francis (No. 8) each won in four.
The Big Red wraps up its busy stretch of three matches in three days with a non-league clash with No. 1 Trinity at noon Monday.
