WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The men's squash team started its three-match weekend with a 9-0 loss to George Washington on Friday evening at Williams' Simon Squash Center.
The match was closer than the score indicates, with Cornell (3-6) forcing the maximum five games in three of the nine scoring matches. With the victory, 11th-ranked George Washington improves to 8-4 and evened the all-time series with the Big Red at 4-4.
Cornell continues its trek at 5 p.m. Saturday, with a match against Franklin & Marshall in Middlebury, Vt.
