ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell women's polo team will compete in a split home-road weekend when Michigan State comes to town on Friday, Feb. 9 and then heads to Connecticut on Sunday, Feb. 11. The Big Red will open against the Spartans at 7:30 p.m., then travels to Storrs, Conn. for a 1 p.m. start after a travel day.

The Big Red opens the weekend with a nine-match win streak, but will put that to the test against a Michigan State team it will meet for the first time and a UConn team that is 5-3 against the Big Red since the beginning of the 2016-17 season.

As a program, the Cornell women have won 15 national titles and have advanced to the national title game six of the last seven seasons with championships in 2011, 2015 and 2016. Head coach David Eldredge, in his 33rd season directing the program, sports a 513-145-17 (.773) record.
