STORY LINES
• After a near-upset of No. 10 Princeton on the road this past weekend, the Cornell women's lacrosse team will attempt to put it all together when it steps out of conference play to face Central New York rival Colgate on Wednesday, March 9 at 5 p.m. at Schoellkopf Field.
• The contest will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Andy Malnoske providing the play-by-play.
• The Big Red gave No. 10 Princeton all it could handle on Saturday, dropping a heartbreaking 13-12 contest to the Tiger in New Jersey with the home team scoring the game's final four goals.
• Graduate captain
Katie McGahan made a career high 18 saves, including 13 in the middle two quarters as the Big Red turned a 6-2 deficit into a 12-9 lead.
• The Big Red is averaging 14.0 goals per game and have done so in a very balanced way, with eight different players averaging at least a point per game.
• Cornell dominated the draw against the Tigers, winning 21-of-29 re-starts with the 21 wins ranking second in a single game, one off the school record of 22 against Jacksonville in 2012.
• The Big Red will be attempting to avenge its 11-8 loss to the Raiders in 2020 that snapped a 20-game Cornell win streak in the series.
• The Raiders are coached by former Big Red first-team All-Ivy selection Kathy Taylor '84.
