HAMDEN, Conn. - The No. 8-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team will take the road for ECAC Hockey play on Friday, November 22 to face the no.-7-ranked Quinnipiac Bobcats at M&T Bank Arena. The Big Red will close out the road-weekend series against the Princeton on Saturday, November 23 at Hobey Baker Memorial Rink.

The Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the Harvard Crimson 5-1 on Friday night at Lynah Rink. The Big Red improved to 5-3-1, while the Crimson dropped to 2-6-0.
Avi Adam, Lindzi Avar, Lily Delianedis (two), and Karel Prefontaine registered Big Red goals in the contest. Mckenna Van Gelder (two), Kaitlin Jockims, Georgia Schiff, Piper Grober, Katie Chan, Delaney Fleming, and Grace Dwyer were credited with helpers in the game.
Dartmouth:
The Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the Dartmouth Big Green 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at Lynah Rink. Cornell improved to 6-3-1, while the Big Green dropped to 0-10-0.
Delaney Fleming, Lindzi Avar (two), and Mckenna Van Gelder registered Big Red goals. Katie Chan, Ashley Messier, Rory Guilday, Kaitlin Jockims (two), Gabbie Rud, and Avi Adam were credited with assists. Annelies Bergmann collected 17 saves.

Quinnpiac:
The no. 6-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated no. 9 Quinnipiac 5-0 on a Saturday evening at Lynah Rink to advance to ECAC Hockey championship weekend for the first time since 2019-20.
Georgia Schiff (two), Lily Delianedis, Mckenna Van Gelder, and Avi Adam netted Big Red goals in the game. Kaitlin Jockins (two), Grace Dwyer (two), Izzy Daniel, Schiff, Claudia Yu, Gabbie Rud, and Rory Guilday recorded assists in the contest.
Princeton:
The no. 8-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the no. 12-ranked Princeton Tigers 5-3 at Hobey Baker Rink on a Friday night.
Karel Prefontaine, Gabbie Rud (short-handed), Rory Guilday, Piper Grober, and Izzy Daniel (empty-net) registered Big Red goals in the contest. Georgia Schiff, Grace Dwyer, Daniel (two), Kaitlin Jockims, Lily Delianedis, and Claudia Yu had helpers in the contest. Cornell stopped all six of the Tigers power-play opportunities.
Big Red Players To Watch
Annelies Bergmann has been strong in net this season, saving 228 shots. Bergmann has held opponents scoreless in five games, coming in a tie versus Mercyhurst and four shutout victories against Penn State, RPI, Dartmouth and Yale.
Lindzi Avar holds the hot-stick for Cornell, leading the bunch in goals with six on the season. Avar has claimed ECAC Hockey Rookie of The Week honors on two occasions. Her first-career hat-trick came in a 7-0 trouncing of the RPI Engineers. She also potted a pair of tallies in a 4-0 win against Ivy League foe Dartmouth.
Captain and defense-woman Ashley Messier has been a catalyst for the Big Red so far this season. She currently leads the team in assists, registering seven points on seven assists. Messier's impact on the defensive end is felt, as she has 15 blocked shots on the year to pair with a +7.
