ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell golf team will kick off its spring break with a head-to-head match against Dartmouth on Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m. from the McArthur Golf Club in Hobe South, Florida. INSIDER: DARTMOUTH
Saturday's dual match in Florida will be the fourth time the Big Red and the Big Green have seen each other this season, as they matched up at Cornell's Fall Invitational, Temple Invitational, and the Columbia Autumn Invitational. Cornell has been higher on the final leaderboard in its fall tournament and at Temple.Â
Dartmouth has hit the links seven times over the fall and spring with three top-ten finishes. Its best placing came at the Autumn Invite hosted by the Lions, as the Big Green earned second overall with its fourth-lowest three-round score in program history (858). Two of its golfers finished under par in that tournament in senior Alex Gu (-3) and sophomore Aaron Zhang (-1).Â
The Big Green last competed at the ECU Intercollegiate hosted by the Pirates on March 18-19, finishing in fifth place at the Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville, North Carolina.
