– The Cornell golf program travels to Apalachin, N.Y., and the Links at Hiawatha to compete in the Matthews Auto Collegiate on Sunday, Oct. 5 and Monday, Oct. 6.

THE FIELD
A total of 13 teams will travel to Apalachin, N.Y., to compete in Binghamton's annual golf tournament. Fellow Ivy foe, Dartmouth will also compete in the event.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The 36-hole tournament will be played under the play five, count four format over two days.
THE SEASON SO FAR
The Big Red continue to improve with each passing tournament this fall, posting a 54-hole best score of 869 at last weekend's Columbia Autumn Invitational.
Cornell is led by
Shep Davis, who is averaging a 73.89 per round, including a season-low 69 in round one of last week's Columbia Autumn Invitational.
Tyler Debusschere was the teams top finisher at the event, posting a season and career-best 214 (+1).
Adithya Venkataraghaven is third on the team in scoring average, posting a stroke average of 75.38 over eight rounds this season.
LAST TIME AT MATTHEWS AUTO COLLEGIATE
The Big Red finished 10th out of 17 teams a year ago in the Matthews Auto Collegiate.
Weston Warden led the way for the Big Red at last year's event, posting a 70-76 and finishing tied for 22nd.
Tyler Debusschere finished tied for 53rd after moving up 12 spots in the final round with a score of 72.
