HANOVER, N.H. -  The no. 6-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team gets set for an ECAC Hockey weekend series against Ivy League foes Dartmouth and Harvard. The Big Red will set its sights on clinching its 17th Ivy League title in program history.

Rewind vs Princeton/Quinnipiac
vs Princeton
The no. 6-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the no. 14-ranked Princeton Tigers 6-1 on Friday night at Lynah Rink. The Big Red improved to 13-4-3, while the Tigers fell to 13-7-0.

Claudia Yu, Katie Chan, Lindzi Avar (two), Lily Delianedis, and Gabbie Rud registered the Big Red goals in the contest. Georgia Schiff, Beatrice Perron-Roy, Kaitlin Jockims, Lindzi, Karel Prefontaine (two), Ashley Messier, Avi Adam, and Alyssa Regalado were credited with assists. Annelies Bergmann collected 18 saves on the night.

vs Quinnipiac
The no. 6-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the no. 10-ranked Quinnipiac Bobcats 4-1 on Saturday afternoon at Lynah Rink. The Big Red improved to 14-4-3, while the Bobcats dropped to 15-8-3.

Lily Delianedis, Grace Dwyer, Katie Chan, and Avi Adam (empty-net) registered Big Red goals in the game. Karel Prefontaine, Delaney Fleming, Chan, Lindzi Avar, Kaitlin Jockims, Alyssa Regalado, and Mckenna Van Gelder were credited with assists. Annelies Bergmann claimed 33 saves in the game.

Last Time Out vs Dartmouth/Harvard
vs Dartmouth:
Earlier in the season, the Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the Dartmouth Big Green 4-0 on a Saturday afternoon at Lynah Rink.

Delaney Fleming, Lindzi Avar (two), and Mckenna Van Gelder registered Big Red goals. Katie Chan, Ashley Messier, Rory Guilday, Kaitlin Jockims (two), Gabbie Rud, and Avi Adam were credited with assists. Annelies Bergmann collected 17 saves.

vs Harvard
The Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the Harvard Crimson 5-1 on a Friday night at Lynah Rink in the beggining of the season.

Avi Adam, Lindzi Avar, Lily Delianedis (two), and Karel Prefontaine registered Big Red goals in the contest. Mckenna Van Gelder (two), Kaitlin Jockims, Georgia Schiff, Piper Grober, Katie Chan, Delaney Fleming, and Grace Dwyer were credited with helpers in the game.

Big Red Players To Watch
Annelies Bergmann has proven to be one of the top goaltenders in the nation, saving 473 shots (.937). Bergmann has held opponents scoreless in five games, coming in a tie versus Mercyhurst and four shutout victories against Penn State, RPI, Dartmouth and Yale.

The Big Red's scoring production has been spread out, as 11 players currently have double digit points coming into the weekend.  Avi Adam has been a reliable playmaker and leads the way for Cornell in that regard. She is tied for the team lead in assists with with 12. Her eight goals on the year pushes her point-total to 20 which leads the team.

Captain and defense-woman Ashley Messier has been a model of consistency for the Big Red so far this season. Messier has 11 assists to go along with three goals on the year. Messier's impact on the defensive end is felt, as she has 30 blocked shots on the year to pair with a +10.

Puck drop between the Big Red and the Big Green is slated for 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 24 at Thompson Arena. The contest between Cornell and Harvard is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 25 at Bright-Landry Center. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
