ITHACA, N.Y. -- It's very simple — a win on Saturday afternoon at No. 6 Yale puts the Cornell women's lacrosse team in the Ivy League Tournament. A loss ends its season. • The Big Red enters the weekend fifth in the Ivy standings, a game out of second place (Brown, Pen and Yale are all 4-2).

• Cornell is in the midst of closing the regular season with four consecutive Ivy games against ranked opponents, a stretch highlighted by a 13-12 victory over No. 21/22 Harvard on Senior Day.
• The Big Red has won seven straight games against the Bulldogs in New Haven, and to make it eight in a row must avenge last year's 21-8 Yale win at Schoellkopf Field.

• Cornell's 109 assists this season is already a single-season school record.
• Graap's team returns five of its top six scorers, a veteran defense composed of four seniors, and its top two goalkeepers.
• Cornell, picked sixth in the Ivy League's Preseason Media Poll, is coming off a 7-8 campaign (2-5 Ivy) a season ago.
