PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Cornell men's and women's outdoor track and field will travel to Philadelphia this week to compete in the 2026 Penn Relays, held Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 25 at Franklin Field and at Mondschein Throws Complex on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.
One of the premier events in track and field, the Penn Relays will feature more than 180 collegiate programs from across the United States and Canada, joining thousands of high school, Olympic development and professional athletes in a three-day competition that annually draws more than 100,000 spectators.
First held on April 21, 1895, the Penn Relays is the longest-running track and field meet in the United States and has played a significant role in the development of relay racing. What began as a small collegiate competition has grown into an international showcase, blending team-oriented relay events with individual championship performances in front of one of the sport's most energetic crowds.
Cornell enters the weekend coming off a series of strong performances across recent meets and will look to continue building momentum against national-level competition.
