Four Earn All-Ivy Honors for Cornell Women’s Lacrosse

ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell Big Red women's lacrosse placed four student-athletes on the All-Ivy League teams, headlined by first-team selections in senior defender Caitlin Tully and sophomore midfielder Lexie Tully.

Junior attacker Ellie Bergin earned second-team honors, while senior attacker Ella Wilmot was named honorable mention.

A senior captain, Caitlin Tully anchored Cornell's defense while leading the team in ground balls with 35, draw controls with 53 and caused turnovers with 35. She started all 15 games and closed her career ranked No. 4 in program history in caused turnovers with 79. Her 35 caused turnovers this spring rank third in a single season, while her 53 draw controls sit eighth. Tully's top performances included five ground balls and five caused turnovers against then-No. 25 James Madison University, and a career-high seven draw controls in an 11-10 win over the Yale Bulldogs.

Lexie Tully enjoyed a breakout sophomore campaign, starting all 15 games alongside her sister. She finished fourth on the team in goals with 21 and totaled 24 points on three assists with a .694 shot-on-goal percentage. Tully also ranked third in ground balls with 20, second in caused turnovers with 20 and third in draw controls with 28 this season, emerging as a key two-way presence for the Big Red.

Ellie Bergin, a junior captain, led Cornell offensively with 34 goals while starting all 15 games. She posted a .696 shot-on-goal percentage and added four assists, 12 ground balls and 20 draw controls. Bergin recorded a career-high four goals and four draw controls in a win over the Harvard Crimson.

Ella Wilmot capped her senior season by leading the team with 28 assists while adding 13 goals for 41 points. She started all 15 games and posted a season-high five assists and six points in a Senior Day victory over Yale. Wilmot finished her career with 60 assists, tying her for seventh in program history, and scoring 102 total points.

Cornell concluded the 2026 season with a 9-6 overall record and a 4-3 mark in Ivy League play, securing its first winning conference record since 2022.
