ITHACA, N.Y. –
Micah Zandee-Hart and
Jaime Bourbonnais of the Cornell women's hockey team were named to the Canadian National Women's Team roster for the 2019 IIHF Women's World Championship, Hockey Canada announced in a release Wednesday afternoon. The championship will take place April 4-14 in Espoo, Finland.

The two junior defensemen will be joined by Cornell alumnae Lauren Fortino,
Brianne Jenner, Rebecca Johnston and Jill Saulnier, all of which represented Canada in the 4 Nations Cup back in November.
For Zandee-Hart and Bourbonnais, it will mark their world championship debuts. Zandee-Hart was recently announced Second Team All-Ivy League and Third Team All-ECAC Hockey, while Bourbonnais was tabbed to the Ivy League's first team.
The Big Red takes on Princeton in the ECAC Hockey semifinal at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Lynah Rink. The winner will move on the title game at 2 p.m. on Sunday in Lynah Rink, where it will face the victor of the second semifinal game between Colgate and Clarkson.
