ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell women's tennis team will play a pair of dual matches when it hosts James Madison on Friday evening before traveling to Pittsburgh to play Duquesne on Monday afternoon.
Doubles action between the Big Red and Dukes at the Reis Tennis Center on Friday is slated to begin at 6 p.m. Monday's match with Duquesne has an early 10 a.m. start.
Sophomore
Lan Mi has excelled in the spring season for the Big Red (1-9), registering an 8-1 record at the No. 1 singles position.
Scouting James Madison
James Madison will enter the match with a 3-3 overall record. The Dukes are coming off a pair of 4-3 victories to Louisville on Feb. 5 and Xavier on Feb. 24.
Daria Munteanu has a 5-1 record in duals so far this season, all of which have been played at the No. 5 position. Ines Oliveria and Daniela Voloh each have four wins so far on the spring season.
Cornell fell to James Madison in Harrisonburg, Va., last season, 5-2.

Valerie Ho posted victories for the Big Red in the setback.
This meeting will mark the third consecutive year of competition that Cornell and James Madison are meeting. The Dukes have been victorious in both meetings.
Scouting Duquesne
Duquesne has a 3-2 overall record before this week's matches against Mercyhurst on Wednesday and Penn State on Sunday.
Monday's match against Cornell will be the first of six straight home matches for the Dukes.
Jasa Roka enters with a 5-0 record in dual matches, splitting time between the No. 5 and No. 6 positions. Ellen Shanahan has the second-most victories for Duquesne this year, posting a 3-2 record.
Cornell is playing Duquesne for the first time since posting a 7-0 victory on March 10, 2013, in Pittsburgh. The Big Red took all six singles matches in straight sets, while two of the three doubles matches favored Cornell.
