ITHACA, N.Y. — Junior Perry Hanson won both of his matches Sunday, helping the men's squash team to a split of a doubleheader against Dartmouth and Hobart at Belkin International Squash Courts.
 
Hanson started the day by winning in four games at the No. 2 position, accounting for the team's only point in an 8-1 setback against Dartmouth. Cornell (3-5, 0-3 Ivy League), tabbed 15th in the most recent College Squash Association national rankings, still leads the all-time series against Dartmouth, 39-22 – but the Big Green won its fifth straight meeting between the teams while quelling an opportunity for the Big Red to move up the tables.
 
Hanson recovered after dropping the first game. The only member of the squad to force a fourth game against his opponent yesterday against second-ranked Harvard, Hanson also won in three games from the top spot in the evening's 7-2 victory over 25th-ranked Hobart. That pushes his record to 5-3 on the season, which is tied with freshman Illia Presman for the most victories on the team after the latter's four-game win at the No. 3 spot against the Statesmen.
 
Presman's victory was part of the Big Red's sweep in the opening rotation, then the hosts clinched the match with wins from junior Kenan Ong (No. 8) and senior Jordan Brail (No. 2).
