Track and Field Holds Annual Awards Banquet

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell men's and women's track and field teams held their annual awards dessert banquet Tuesday evening. Both teams, which are currently in the postseason portion of their schedules, doled out their yearly awards, named next year's captains and recognized their graduating senior classes.
 
Next year's captains on the men's side will be Malick Diomande, Clayton Jeffrey, Will Lutkewitte, Shane Goosby and James Norris. On the women's side, Reagan Bachman, Niko Kanaris, Zenab Ojibe, Jinjer Pearce and Brittany Stenekes will all serve as captains.

The Big Red returns to action this weekend with the ECAC/IC4A Championships which will take place Saturday and Sunday at Weaver Stadium in Princeton, New Jersey. Following the regional meet, Cornell has two remaining meets on its schedule: the NCAA First Round meet in Jacksonville, Florida, from May 23-25 and then in the NCAA Final Round in Austin, Texas, from June 5-8.
