An outstanding three-year letterman in two sports, he was named to the All-Ivy second-team in basketball as a guard in 1954. He led the Big Red in field goal percentage in 1954 and in assists as a junior and senior. Bradfield was a major factor in Cornell’s winning the Ivy League championship in 1954. AS a midfielder in lacrosse, he garnered honorable mention All-America honors his senior year as the Big Red put together an overall 9-3 record. He was co-captain in both sports and the lacrosse team’s MVP in 1954. Bradfield is a graduate of Ithaca High School.
