She won All-Ivy honors in women's track eight times, including first-team honors on the basis of her first-place finishes in the long jump at the 1990 indoor Heps and at the '91 outdoor Heps. She scored in five events at the 1991 outdoor Heptagonal championships and in four events both in the outdoor Heps in '90 and the indoor Heps in '91. She won All-East honors as part of the distance medley relay that placed second at the indoor Eastern College Athletic Conference championships in 1989. She set Cornell records in the indoor and outdoor long jump, indoor 200, outdoor 100 and as a member of the indoor and outdoor distance medley relay. The three-time team MVP was captain of the track team in 1989-90 and again in 1990-91, when the Cornell women's team won its first-ever indoor and outdoor Heps titles. She was an assistant track coach at Cornell from 1995-99. She is a graduate of Lincoln-Way High School in New Lenox, Ill., where she earned all-state and all-conference honors. She lives in Horseheads, N.Y.
