All-America 1st team hockey goaltender, 1986. Ithaca Journal Male Athlete of the Year for 1986 when Cornell won the ECAC title. MVP of the 1986 ECAC tournament, when he recorded an ECAC record 57 saves in a 3-2 double OT win over Yale in the semifinal game, and was named team MVP. Led the nation in save percentage (.914) and set Cornell records for saves in a season (967), season games played (30, 1986) and minutes played by a goalie in a season (1815, 1986). Named to ECAC 2nd team and All-Ivy 2nd team in '86; All-Ivy honorable mention as frosh. Compiled 2-year record of 37-17-4, a 3.27 career GA average and a save percentage of .907. Left Cornell following his sophomore year to play pro hockey with the Calgary Flames organization. Was a member of Canadian National Team, 1991.
