Captained track and cross country teams as a senior. Over her 4-year cross country career she won 12 dual meets, the most in Cornell women's history. Holds the Cornell women's cross country record for the fastest time run on the Moakley Course (17:48.0, set in 1983). She finished 8th at the 1985 Heps cross country championships to earn All-Ivy honors. She won the indoor Heps 3,000 and placed 6th in the 5,000 in 1986. As a freshman, she placed 6th in the 3,000 in a Cornell frosh record time of 9:43.13 at the Easterns, and placed 4th in the indoor Heps 5,000 in a Cornell frosh record time of 17:17.10. Was named the cross country team MVP in '85 and was the recipient of the team's Gatling Award as the senior who has done the most for Cornell women's track, and the Blanford Award for the most career points.
