Hall of Fame
He was the Ivy League champion on the pommel horse in 1971 and that year became the first Cornellian to qualify for the NCAA championships in gymnastics after winning the NCAA independent qualifying meet. He placed seventh on the pommel horse at the NCAA championships in 1972. Tri-captain as a junior and co-captain his senior year, he placed second on the pommel horse, long horse and high bar at the 1969 Ivy championships. At the 1970 Ivy meet, he was second on the side horse, high bar and all-around, and was third on the long horse. Cornell won the Ivy League championship all four years he was with the team. Wiggin was selected as the 1972 Cornell Daily Sun Athlete of the Year and is a graduate of Wellesley (Mass.) High School.
