Outstanding end on Cornell's Ivy championship football teams of 1948 and '49, compiling 8-1 record both seasons. He earned major JV letter in '47. He led team in pass receiving in '49 (14x289) and scored 5 TDs. Named to Associated Press All-Ivy 2nd team in 1949. Served as assistant football coach in charge of the ends at Cornell from 1950-53.
