Hall of Fame
Undefeated (10-0) at No. 1 singles in 1963. Won Eastern Intercollegiate championship in 1963. Competed at National Collegiate Championships in '63, where he won his first two rounds and lost in third round. Became the first Cornellian to be ranked as the No. 1 player in the Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. He also competed at the Eastern Intercollegiate tournament in 1961, where he lost in the final. He compiled 9-1 record at No. 2 (and at No.3) singles as sophomore, and was 9-5 as a junior at No. 1 singles. Three-year letterman. Captained the 1962 and 1963 teams.
