An outstanding two-sport athlete, Miller rewrote the record books for field hockey and lacrosse at Cornell. In field hockey, she was named the team's best offensive player all four seasons, from 1980-83, leading the team in scoring each year. An All-Ivy first-team selection as a junior and a second unit pick as a sophomore and senior, she set season and career records for goals, assists and points. In lacrosse, she was the Ivy League Rookie of the Year and received All-Ivy honorable mention as a freshman. Miller was named to the All-Ivy first team as a senior after being a second unit selection as a sophomore and junior. In 1983, she was named to the All-New York State second team, the All-Northeast Division I first team and received All-America honorable mention. She set the Big Red's career scoring record (154 points) and the season and career marks for assists. She co-captained both sports as a senior and was co-captain in lacrosse her junior year. She is a graduate of Central Bucks West High School in Doylestown, Pa.
