A two-time All-American, he set Cornell’s single season scoring mark with 22 goals and 52 assists for 74 points as a senior, and currently ranks third in that category. He led the Ivy League in scoring two straight years, winning All-Ivy first team honors in 1968 and 1969. In addition, he won All-East first team honors as a junior and senior. During his three years of play, Cornell University compiled an 81-5-1 overall record, an unprecedented three straight NCAA championships. In three years he scored 52 goals and had 95 assists for 148 points. An outstanding scholar-athlete, he was the recipient of the ECAC Merit Medal in 1969, which is awarded to those outstanding students who combine academic and athletic excellence. While attending Cornell’s Graduate School of Business and Public Administration, he coached the freshman hockey team.
