Hills was an All-American in both field hockey and lacrosse and graduated as the school's career leader in scoring in both sports. Hills was a two-time third-team All-American (1996, 1998) in lacrosse and a second-team All-American in field hockey (1995) during her four-year career. She was Cornell's first-ever All-American in field hockey. Hills was the Cornell Sun Athlete of the Year in 1998 and was the Richie Moran Award Winner in 1997. In lacrosse, Hills earned first-team All-Ivy honors as a senior and was a second-team pick as a sophomore and junior. She captured first-team IWLCA all-region honors in her final three seasons and was a second-team all-region pick as a freshman. She graduated as the school's career leader in points (180), goals (131), ground balls (154) and draw controls (110). Hills also scored a goal in a school-record 31 consecutive games, while her 57 points in 1996 and her 47 goals in 1998 were single-season records. In field hockey, Hills was named team MVP three times (1994, 1995, 1997) and earned the team's Class of '91 Cup award, which is given annually to the player with the most promising future in 1994. Hills was a two-time first-team All-Ivy pick and was once selected to the All-Ivy second team. She was a first-team regional All-American in 1995 and a second-team pick in 1997. She was team captain as a senior. Hills still holds records for season (36 in 1995) and career points (93), and season (11 in 1997) and career (33) assists. Hills also ranks second on the school's career goal scoring list (30). She was named Ivy League Rookie of the Year in 1994.
