Schneid was a three-time honorable mention All-American and three-time All-Ivy defensemen for the Big Red. A four-year letter winner, he served as co-captain his senior season and was named the team’s Dr. Ray Van Orman Memorial Award winner, as the squad’s MVP, as well as the Al “Junior” Kelz-Mike Herriott Award as the outstanding senior player, that same season. He finished his senior campaign with 57 ground balls, tops among Cornell defensemen, and concluded his career with 167 ground balls, one goal and one assist. Following his senior season, he was chosen to play in the North-South All-Star game.
